Saturday, 1-30-10

At 3:06 am an officer stopped a gold 2004 Honda Accord in the 100 block of S.R. 16E for speeding. The driver, 22 year old Justin Michael Morris, told the officer he had cannabis on him, which the officer removed from a pants pocket. A search of Morris' vehicle, a glass cannabis pipe was found near the driver's seat.

Also found in the vehicle was a pill bottle containing 58 oxycodone pills, which had been filled on 1-28-10. Next the officer found a second pill bottle containing 117 Oxycodone pills, which had been filled on 1-29-10. Both prescriptions were filled by different doctors.

During an interview, Morris admitted to getting the two doctors to fill the prescriptions, while withholding the fact that he was seeing more than one doctor.

Morris was charged with Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Withholding Information from a Physician to Obtain a Controlled Substance and booked into jail.
