Officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Roberts Circle for a landlord tenant dispute. Arriving officers found former resident Regina Rebecca Brooks, 34, standing outside the residence. She told officers she had moved out a month ago and stopped by to get some of her possessions.

An officer knocked on the door several times. When the homeowner opened the door, Brooks ran inside and locked herself inside a bedroom. Brooks began yelling for everybody to get out of the house. When the officer ordered her to open the door she complied.

While the officer was still investigating the matter, Brooks yelled at him to get out and slammed the door on his left arm. He pushed the door open and arrested Brooks for Battery. The officer had to hold Brooks down and she attempted to avoid getting handcuffed. she was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest Without Violence.
