Scott "Nick" Pothier, 63, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant after an officer saw him riding his bicycle on Walburg Street toward the St. Johns River. The warrant charged Pothier with having an abandoned/derelict vessel.

Pothier's sailboat sunk and became lodged against with City Pier several months ago, causing it to be closed for a period of time. Pothier has since failed to have the boat removed.

Pothier was arrested on the warrant and booked into jail under a $25,002.00 bond.
