Chief Robert A. Musco is a career law enforcement professional, who began his career in 1980, with the City of Delray Beach Police Department in Palm Beach County, Florida. During his career, Chief Musco worked in many different assignments, while earning several promotions in his choosen fild of law enforcement. He held command assignments in Patrol, Investigations, and Community Policing, and ascended to the rank of District Commander with the Delray Beach Police Department before retiring in December 2005, to accept the position of Chief of Police for the City of Green Cove Springs, Florida.
Chief Musco earned a Master of Science Degree with honors in Organizational Leadership, from Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Bachelor of Science Degree with honors in Human Resource Development, from Palm Beach Atlantic University and an Associate of Arts Degree with honors from Palm Beach Community College, in Criminal Justice. Chief Musco is a graduate of the 113th session of the Administrative Officers Course at the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, a graduate of the Senior Management Institute of Policing at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts and a graduate of the 10th session of the Command Officers Development Course at the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Additionally, Chief Musco possesses over 3,500 hours of leadership education and training and is the recipient of numerous awards and commendations, while being a member of several professional and civic organizations.
Chief Musco is married to Carol and they have two adult children. He enjoys golfing and reading and is registered in America’s Who’s Who in Law Enforcement.
